Bio

Degree in medicine at University of Bern in 1992 and doctor in medicine at the University of Lausanne in 1996. Between 1992 and 1996 medical doctor activity as dependent worker in the Department of medicine and oncology at the Hospital Beata Vergine Mendrisio and Clincal Pathology in Locarno and Department of Public Health in Losanna. In 2010 Master in Public Health at the University Zurich/Basel/Bern. Since 1996 medical director of Ticino Cancer Registry and from 2015 in addition medical director of the Unit of screening programs. Different membership Board: Directory Board of Cancer Research Foundation of Southern Switzerland Board, Directory/Executive Board of League Against Cancer of Southern Switzerland, Registry Directory Board of National Institute of Cancer Epidemiology and Registration of Switzerland (NICER), Scientific Advisory Board of National Institute of Cancer Epidemiology and Registration of Switzerland (NICER). Past elected member of the Board of International association of cancer registries for Europe (IACR) and Board of European Network of Cancer registries (ENCR) and Board of Grell.
