Jaume Galceran

Bio:

Dr Jaume Galceran, MD is the director of the Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention Service of the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus, Spain since December 2019 and the president of the Spanish Network of Cancer registries since December 2017 of which he was secretary between 2010 and 2015. He is also a member of the GRELL since 2009 and a member of the Cancer Screening Advisory Commission of Catalonia, Spain since 2006.

He was the coordinator of the Tarragona Cancer Registry, Spain, since 1988 until 2008 and the director of the Tarragona Cancer Registry, Spain since 2008. He is adviser of the hospital registry of the University Hospital of Reus, Tarragona, Spain since 1990. He also coordinates the Breast Cancer Screening Programme of the Tarragona province, Spain (since 1998) as well as the Colorectal Cancer Screening Programme of the Tarragona province, Spain (since 2010). Since 1992, he has been involved in multiple collaborations with different cancer registries in Latin America, especially with the cancer registries of Chile.
